Congratulations on your Marriage!

We hope your wedding day was a great celebration of your Sacramental relationship! Your wedding day is just the beginning of a lifetime of living out the Sacrament and covenant of Marriage.

The journey ahead of you will not always be an easy one. Building a lifelong relationship takes a lot of work and effort. There will be challenges ahead of you that you cannot even imagine right now. But all of the work, effort and energy you put into your relationship will be worthwhile as your relationship and your family grow in the love of Christ.

And you don’t walk this journey alone. Your diocese is dedicated to walking with you, encouraging your Marriage, and offering whatever help we can. We encourage you not to become complacent in your relationship.

Resources for Your Marriage

Take advantage of these resources early and often – and build a strong, lifelong marriage and a loving family!

The Diocesan Marriage Enrichment Page has links to all of the Marriage enrichment programs and events in the diocese. Check back often for new opportunities to enrich your Marriage!

ForYourMarriage.org is an initiative of the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops to support Marriages. This is really a dynamic site with content written by married couples for married couples in every stage of the journey.

Teaching the Way of Love is a program for Catholic parents that came out of the Diocese of LaCrosse and is spreading across the nation. This program encourages you to embrace your role as the primary educators of your children. The first step – Embrace Parenthood – is intended for parents of young children. The second step – Growing in the Way of Love – is intended for parents of children who are entering puberty. The third step – Bodies & Boundaries – is intended for parents of adolescents. The website twl4parents.com has a lot of great free articles and resources. The core program is available online or as a DVD/workbook home study at a great price!
