St Adalbert Parish in Rosholt has an immediate opening for a Financial Secretary / Bookkeeper for its Parish and School.
The Financial Secretary assists the Pastor with the stewardship of the Parish’s financial resources in accordance with Diocesan policies/guidelines and includes some general clerical duties. The position reports directly to the Pastor with secondary accountability to the School Principal and Parish Financial Expert.
Ideal candidate will have at least three years’ experience working in a fast-paced professional office environment, ability to multi-task and desire for continued learning. MS Office, general spreadsheet, and basic accounting/payroll knowledge required.
Pay will be based on candidate experience and skill set.
Minimum Qualifications:
U.S. Citizen or authorized alien.
High School or equivalent required.
Certificate of Completion from Technical School or College Degree preferred.
Ability to pass a criminal background investigation and drug screen at time of employment and as requested.
Three years demonstrated successful bookkeeping experience.
Practicing and active member of a Roman Catholic church/faith community preferred.
Knowledge of and compatibility with the teachings and mission of the Catholic Church required.
