The Catholic Community of Tomah, Wisconsin, is looking for a dynamic principal to guide Queen of the Apostles School. Applicants should be driven by the Holy Spirit to achieve great things and should be living their Catholic faith so as to be an example to the students and staff which he/she will lead.
Queen of the Apostles Parish and School are located approximately 100 miles northwest of Madison and 45 miles east of La Crosse. The school is PreK-8th grade building with 137 total students.
Candidates must be Catholic and willing to advance the Catholic Mission of the school through strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. Candidates must have current knowledge of Church documents related to Catholic Schools.
The ideal candidate will have 3 years teaching experience, a Master’s degree in administration and a current administrative license from the State of Wisconsin (or qualify to earn a Wisconsin administrative license). Candidates need knowledge of current curriculum and standards and have an enthusiasm for education.
The Queen of the Apostles School principal is responsible to the Parish Pastor and the Diocesan Superintendent of Catholic Schools. The school principal will collaborate with the Parish Pastor in making effective decisions and executing a strategic vision with emphasis on Catholic identity, academics, development, marketing, and school growth.
