The Catholic Community of Mauston, Wisconsin is looking for a dynamic principal to guide St. Patrick School. Applicants should be driven by the Holy Spirit and their own faith and community mindset to achieve great things in a rural setting.
St. Patrick’s Parish and School are located approximately 73 miles northwest of Madison and 72 miles east of La Crosse. The school is 4K through 8th grade with 112 students total.
Candidates must be practicing Catholics willing to advance the Catholic mission of the school through strong organizational, communication and leadership skills. Candidates must have current knowledge of Church documents related to Catholic schools.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years teaching experience, a Master’s degree in administration and a current administrative license from the state of Wisconsin, or qualify to earn a Wisconsin administrative license. Candidates must have knowledge of current curriculum and standards and have an enthusiasm for education, for students and for learning through faith in order to uphold the strong academic tradition of the school. St. Patrick School is seeking a candidate who is a 21st century educator with knowledge of online and virtual learning platforms, willing to lead our teachers and students. As principal, it is the expectation of both school and parish to be involved and engaged in activities, projects and events throughout the year to show leadership and dedication as an active participant in the community.
