This position collaborates with teachers, students, and families to meet the educational needs of the student in math and reading skills. The ideal candidate would have a teaching license and experience with students with IEPs. St. Vincent de Paul is a part of the Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP) and would become familiar with the program requirements and family service agreement plans.
The ideal candidate will:
- Provide small group or 1:1 remedial instruction to students who have been identified as having an educational disability.
- Research and create educational materials for students in the Special Needs Scholarship Program (SNSP) program;
- Use Scientifically Research-Based Interventions with fidelity
- Collect and analyze data through formal and informal assessment benchmarks and probes on individual students; make instructional recommendations in collaboration with the pupil services team and classroom teachers
- Measure progress on all IEP/ISP student goals and objectives; use specific assessments to drive instruction/intervention
