The office supports these consecrated persons and their respective communities in fulfilling their unique charism and apostolic works by:
- Assisting institutes of consecrated life or individual consecrated persons interested in living and serving in the Diocese
- Promoting the vocation to consecrated life in collaboration with the Diocesan Office for Vocations
- Mediating consultation on canonical matters concerning persons who follow or are seeking to follow the vocation of consecrated life
- Maintaining a census of consecrated persons living and serving in the Diocese
- Coordinating and promoting the annual Retirement Fund for Religious Appeal, as well as performing other administrative services
