Group Registration

For groups of 10 people and under, you can order more than one ticket at a time on the Eventbrite system. For example, under general admission, a man could order tickets for himself, his wife, and his child. Those tickets would have names assigned to them. You can print out the tickets as PDFs and save them for June 7th, or you could save those tickets through the Eventbrite app (a free download for your phone) and show them at check-in via your smartphone.

However, if a larger group of more than 10 people wants to attend fill out the Group Registration Form by clicking the box below. In that case, a parish/school would be responsible for paying for the entire group. Then the attendees would pay their fee directly to the parish/school. The group leader will receive all the tickets as PDFs forms, as well as wristbands provided that the tickets are ordered by April 15, 2024. Names will not be attached to the tickets. This could be useful if a parish or group wanted to buy a set a tickets and decide who attends later. *Group tickets are non-refundable.

The Eucharistic Pilgrimage

Our day will begin with a Eucharistic Procession. The Marian Route of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will be ending their time in the Diocese of Winona-Rochester on the morning of June 7, 2024 and entering into the Diocese of La Crosse. Bishop William Patrick Callahan will greet Bishop Robert Barron, Bishop of the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, to transfer the Eucharistic Procession from the Diocese of Winona-Rochester to the Diocese of La Crosse. This historic moment will be an opportunity for people of all generations to join in the Eucharistic Procession as we journey to the La Crosse Center where we will immediately enter into Mass. Participants in this Eucharistic Procession do not have to buy a ticket for the rest of the day if they do not plan to stay for the event.

Food and Beverages

The La Crosse Center will have concession stands open beginning after Mass and available throughout the day. You may also dine at one of the many restaurants in downtown La Crosse. Food and drinks cannot be brought into the La Crosse Center.

Food purchased at the La Crosse Center concession stands can be eaten in the seats in the arena, or in seating areas around the La Crosse Center.

Questions

I don’t really understand what the Eucharist is. Will this event be over my head?

The truth is you are not alone. You are exactly who this event is designed for. Our hope is that everyone walks away with a deeper understanding of the Eucharist. We especially pray that those people who struggle understanding the Eucharist gain that understanding and are able to tell others, just like them about it.

Will Childcare be available?

All day childcare will not be available. Children ages 12 and under are expected to be with an adult relative while attending the event.

Will food and drink be available?

Yes.

Where can I get directions to the La Crosse Center?

(Link back to the “Maps and Directions” page.

Is masking required?

We will follow the rules in place by the city of La Crosse and/or the La Crosse Center. We anticipate masking being optional at the Congress. Of course, you are welcome to mask if you prefer.

Do I need to bring my ticket?

Yes, you do! We need to see that ticket so we have a running count of how many are in the La Crosse Center and avoid breaking fire codes. There are multiple ways to bring your tickets:

  1. You can save the Eventbrite app on your phone with the same email with which you registered. If you have the app, you can pull up your ticket electronically and show it at check in.
  2. OR when you register, you also receive an attachment of that ticket via email. You can pull up that email and save the ticket on your smartphone, and show it.
  3. OR you can print out your ticket(s) when you purchase them, and save those paper tickets and bring them with you.

(If you acquired your ticket through a group purchase, please contact your parish/school.)

When you arrive, have your tickets with you (and for your kids, etc.). There will be multiple check in lines. We will scan the tickets’ QR codes. Each ticketed person will receive a wristband that will signify that you have paid.

If you lose your tickets, you can go back into your email and search for the Eventbrite email. They should be there. But if you really, really lose your ticket–email crogers@diolc.org.

Can a non-Catholic attend?

YES! All are welcome. If you are a non-Catholic attending and do not understand some of the traditions or why Catholics do what they do, please ask a volunteer. We are happy to answer any questions.

Is there anything else going on in our diocese related to the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage?

We are glad you asked! The next few days are packed with amazing events across our diocese. See this website (main Diocese of La Crosse Pilgrimage page) to get all the details.

Can I leave the event and come back?

Yes, as long as you have the wristband you received when you scanned your ticket.

Will there be security?

Yes, there will be security to help check bags as people come in, as well as, security throughout the event.

Should I bring extra money?

Yes. You will need money for food at the concession stands, and for anything you might want to buy from the great vendors and exhibitors who will be with us.

There will be thousands of people there, will you know that I am not there?

Yes, we will know you are not there. You are an invaluable part of the Body of Christ. He needs you, and we need you.
