T.H. Stemper Company is seeking a full-time retail manager to join our team at the Stemper/Noelke location in La Crosse. The ideal candidate will have experience in retail management and knowledge of the Catholic Faith; however, we are willing to train for the right applicant. Other primary roles include, but are not limited to: retail purchasing, warehouse management, shipping and receiving, church good purchasing, inventory management, customer service and deliveries to churches in our vehicle. Hours: M-F, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. (split with one other employee).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee day-to-day retail operations, including customer service and sales.
- Manage warehouse and shipping/receiving process to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
- Handle candle deliveries and purchasing of church goods.
- Monitor inventory and purchase of retail products.
Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move 50 pounds, 100+ pounds with a hand truck
- Clean driving record
- Good communication and leadership skills
