RACHEL MINISTRIES OF THE DIOCESE OF LA CROSSE
Listening with our hearts to those who have experienced a traumatic loss.
Anyone who is suffering the loss of a child as a result of miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy, stillbirth, or abortion is invited to reach out and to be received in the Love of Christ. The tremendous pain of losing a child, no matter the circumstance, holds a very sacred place in a parent’s heart. Grief can be stifled by the busyness of our lives, the immensity of the pain, the difficulty of the circumstances, or the feeling of loneliness when someone is not available to shepherd our hearts. Volunteers at Rachel’s Ministries desire to walk alongside you on a journey of healing, offering spiritual accompaniment and connecting you with needed resources within the Catholic Church. Although we are not counselors, we offer compassionate and confidential help. It would be an honor to support you through a journey of greater hope and healing after the loss of a beloved child, no matter how long it has been. You are not alone. The journey begins here.
EVERY child is created by God and leaves an imprint of love!
Rachel came with her father’s sheep; for she kept them. -Genesis 29:9
