New Teacher Formation

Teaching as Ministry
(Session 1)

Participants must bring their Bible and Blue or Green Catechism!

Session is from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM | Check-in and continental breakfast begins at 8:00 AM, lunch will be provided.

The job of each administrator and teacher in a Catholic School is to reinforce what the Church proclaims throughout the world and to work with parents in preparing their children to be faithful citizens who serve others. This ministry requires you to constantly strengthen your own faith in Jesus Christ and the one Church He founded.

Scripture
(Session 2)

Participants must bring their Bible and Blue or Green Catechism!

Administrators and teachers in Catholic Schools must understand the pillar that is Sacred Scripture. This pillar, along with Sacred Tradition, is foundational to our Faith. It is vital that you prayerfully reflect on the Word. This day, dedicated to prayerful Scripture study, is important to helping you establish a strong foundation for your Catholic classroom.

Prayer and Sacraments
(Session 3)

Participants must bring their Bible and Blue or Green Catechism!

Session is from 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM | Check-in and continental breakfast begins at 8:00 AM, lunch will be provided.

Administrators and teachers in Catholic Schools must know the foundation of the Catholic Faith. Our Faith is rooted in the seven Sacraments. It is vital that you pray on your own and with your students. This day of prayer and study of the Sacraments is important to helping you establish a strong foundation.
