The Catholic Youth Ministry Convention provides a beautiful mix of practical, comprehensive training and spiritual renewal. There will be over 60 creative sessions to choose from, led by some of the best youth leaders around. Daily Mass, Eucharistic Adoration, Reconciliation, praise and worship, and other times of prayer will be incorporated throughout the Convention. By the end, youth leaders will leave knowing they are not alone, but a part of a greater community that is ready to help and support them.
*NOTE* Through a generous grant, the Diocese of La Crosse has scholarships available on a first com first served basis. These scholarships pay the convention, hotel, and airfare fees.

From the Franciscan University of Steubenville
A fantastic week-long youth ministry training experience at the Franciscan University of Steubenville.
(from the Office of Ministries and Social Concerns – Diocese of La Crosse)
LFI is a program of formation for active lay persons who wish to deepen their knowledge of the Faith and develop their pastoral abilities in order to be a greater leaven in their parishes and in the world. If you sign up for the youth ministry specialization, you will be equipped with all of the practical tools you need for this ministry. The program involves nine weekends (Friday evening to Saturday evening) a year for two years. In most cases, students are sponsored by their parishes in exchange for a commitment to some parish ministry or apostolate. The weekends are held at several retreat facilities around the Diocese and a new class is started every two years. For more information, please contact the Office of Ministries and Social Concerns.
They have some great information and resources for youth ministers that assist in our formation.
