About Bishop Battersby
• Ordained a priest for the Archdiocese of Detroit on May 30, 1998.
• Served in parish ministry from 1998-2016.
• Received a Licentiate in the New Evangelization from Sacred Heart Seminary in 2008.
• Appointed vice-rector and dean of seminarian formation at Sacred Heart Seminary in 2011.
• Ordained as Auxiliary Bishop of Detroit on Jan. 25, 2017.
• Named 11th Bishop of the Diocese of La Crosse on March 19, 2024.
