 “Warmth of Love”

Winter Donation Drive for Ukraine

Dear Friends,

As winter tightens its grip on Ukraine, millions of families are facing brutal cold under unimaginable circumstances. Because of Russia’s ongoing aggression, homes, hospitals, and entire communities are left without stable heat, electricity, or basic necessities. Temperatures fall far below freezing, and for many, especially the elderly, children, and the wounded this cold is not just uncomfortable, it is life-threatening. What should be a season of rest and family has become a daily struggle for survival. Through the “Warmth of Love” Winter Donation Drive for Ukraine, you have the opportunity to bring real, tangible warmth to those who are suffering. Every donated item whether it is winter clothing, blankets, medical supplies, or essential goods becomes a lifeline. These gifts travel directly to people who have lost so much, reminding them that they are not forgotten and that compassion still crosses borders, even in times of war. Your generosity does more than protect bodies from the cold, it restores dignity, hope, and the knowledge that love is stronger than violence. On behalf of the people of Ukraine, I thank you from the depths of my heart for standing with us. Together, we can transform the cold of war into the warmth of love.

With gratitude and prayers,

Valentyna Pavsyukova

Help the Suffering People of Ukraine

Christian love transcends politics

Asking for Prayers and Financial Support

As speculation mounts regarding a possible negotiated end to the war in Ukraine, Russian aggression continues unabated and has even increased.  The people of Ukraine continue to suffer horrific missile and drone attacks from Russian forces, often aimed at population centers, critical infrastructure, and power stations (with the intent of causing massive blackouts).

Please consider donating to Valentyna Pavsyukova’s extraordinarily effective mission, Chalice of Mercy, to help pay for continued shipments of vital clothing, medical supplies, and much more. With her dedicated network in the U.S. and Ukraine, Valentyna is able to get these supplies (including millions of dollars’ worth of donated medical equipment) from Wisconsin to the people in the war zone in the space of just ten days. This is all done at a discounted rate through her shipping partners, but the costs are still considerable. This mission is rooted in Jesus Christ and sanctified by much prayer and many Holy Masses. Your prayers and donations are deeply appreciated!

Note: Chalice of Mercy was founded by Valentyna Pavsyukova as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit in 2007, and is in good standing with the Diocese of La Crosse.
