10:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
with an hour for lunch.

DRE’s, CRE’s and Youth Ministers are asked to organize a group at the parish so that The Theology of the Body can be implemented in the fall. Parents are most welcome to be part of a parish group so they can “walk with” their child in this formation.

Training will be provided for those who teach the following grades in parish programs:
Grades 7th and 8th as well as Grades 9th and 10th and 11th.

Brian Butler, is executive director and co-founder of Dumb Ox Ministries  a non-profit based in Louisiana, cultivating chastity and authentic love with teens, young adults and families via the lens of St. John Paul II’s teaching known as the Theology of the Body.  Brian has authored several books and programs, including “YOU: Life, Love & Theology of the Body.”  He is the founder of a dynamic retreat for teens and young adults called ECHO, and his latest book is entitled GARDEN Meditations.  Brian’s bachelor’s degree is in Communications and he holds a Masters in Theology. He is a popular speaker, trainer, and retreat master nationally and internationally. He enjoys music, sports and spending time with his wife, Lisa, and their four children.

Cost is $10 per person.

Parent Summaries - Sessions on Theology of the Body

We have developed one-page summaries for parents.  The summary, for the particular session that their son or daughter is currently studying, is meant to be provided to the parents so that they can be engaged with the content and discuss it with their child.
