Billings Ovulation Method
Billings Ovulation Method® (BOM) teaches women to make daily observations of her sensation of cervical fluid (mucus) and its appearance to chart her patterns of fertility and infertility. Billings instructors teach four simple rules to be used throughout a women’s cycle (three prior to peak day – ovulation and the fourth rule after peak day). By understanding when she is fertile/infertile, couples can use these rules to effectively avoid or achieve pregnancy. Women should attend classes or receive instruction from a certified instructor to ensure method effectiveness for achieving or postponing pregnancy.
$150. This includes all materials and follow-ups.
A certified teacher will meet with you in person or online training and show you a PowerPoint presentation that reviews the Billings Method™, including the basic science behind it, the four simple rules and how to chart your patterns of fertility and infertility. At that point, you will begin your own chart and two weeks later will meet with the teacher either in person or remotely to review your charting so far. Most couples will meet with a teacher for four to six follow-ups to gain confidence and to ensure accuracy.
